Last Saturday, Shen Yun Performing Arts played before a sold out crowd at the Kennedy Center Opera House. The New York based group, comprised mainly of Chinese Americans, is dedicated to the preservation and dissemination of traditional Chinese culture through the arts.
The atmosphere alone is enticing: warm, contemporary, and sexy. The modern décor incorporates glass, stone, wood and steel, along with beautiful fabrics, to give the restaurant a feeling of “upscale-meets-earthy”. The lighting makes the dining room glow and illuminates an attractive cosmopolitan crowd.
