After taking some heat for wearing a European designer to the recent US state dinner, Mrs. O flipped the script (or rather the fabric) and wore an American designer to The State of the Union address.

Last Wednesday, Michelle and President Obama hosted the State Dinner at the White House for the President of China, Hu Jintao. Although politicians and Hollywood A-listers like Barbara Streisand and Jackie Chan were in attendance, the first lady stole the scence in a red-orange Alexander McQueen gown.
