I’m not sure if it’s just me or the political climate in the District, but this year is the most interesting Primary Election in quite some time. I’m always curious about the political process and how policies affect both the community and me, as an individual. But, this year, I’m waiting with baited breath to find out the outcome of the Primary. A few of the positions that are up for grabs are producing excellent debates and stiff competition—Democracy at its finest!

August 15, guitarist, songwriter and lead for the soul alternative band Ndelible, David James brings his unique voice and style to ‘Afternoon Acoustics @ the BREAkFAST kLUB’ at Liv Night Club. James will be interviewed on stage by WHW, giving a window into his artistry then blessing the audience indelibly through his guitar and rich vocals.

NBA Players Give Back to Haiti

On Saturday, several current and former National Basketball Association players joined forces “Bowl for Haiti,” a charity bowling match that took place at Lucky Strike (Gallery Place). The event was sponsored by Best Buy and Servpro of Reston-Herndon/Baltimore Inner Harbor in association with the Montgomery Sports Association.
