Is it me or does it seem like time is flying by?? I swear to beans I was in a store this weekend and the Christmas music was on full blast…poor Thanksgiving barely gets a mention…lol…anyway let me tell you what transpired over the weekend in celebritiyville, USA…

SHE SAID…

Rihanna sat down with 20/20 on Friday and besides giving the show its highest ratings the entire season. Rihanna also shared her story on what transpired that night between her and Chris Brown…among other things. While I applaud Rihanna for speaking about her situation the journalist in me can’t help but look at the fact that this interview comes two weeks prior to her new album dropping. (FYI: Rated R drops 11/23/09)

While Rihanna sat down with 20/20…Chris Brown sat down with Sway and MTV on Monday (11/2) for an interview discussing Rihanna’s sit down with 20/20…and how he feels he’s viewed by his fans among other things..

HE SAID PT. 2…..

Over the weekend after Rihanna’s 20/20 interview aired Chris released this statement:

“While I respect Rihanna’s right to discuss the specific events of February 8, I maintain my position that all of the details should remain a private matter between us,” he said in the statement. “I do appreciate her support and wish her the best. I am extremely sorry for what I did, and I accept accountability for my actions. At this point, I am taking the proper steps to learn about me and grow from my mistakes. I only hope that others in similar situations can learn from our experience as well. Abuse of any kind is always wrong. The rest I leave it to God.” …..

JIGGA WHAT…JIGGA WHO….

Ummm what was Miley “Hanna Montana” Cyrus thinking when she admitted during an interview that she’s never heard a Jay-Z song and that his songs aren’t even her style of music. You may think so what people like what they like but when you add the fact that her current song taking over the charts, “Party in the USA” references DANCING to a Jay-Z song…then futher sticks her foot in her mouth by saying she doesn’t even listen to pop..*coughs* that coming from the princess of pop…lmao…

DADDY’S DUES….

So Joe Jackson is requesting a monthly stipend from Michael Jackson’s estate to cover his outrageous $15,000 a month lifestyle (apparently his $1, 7000 social security check isn’t cutting it) His breakdown of what the spends in a month goes as follows: $1,200 a month for rent, $2,500 to eat out, $1,000 on entertainment/gifts/vacations, $2,000 on air travel and $3,000 on hotels! Kudos to a judge who recently rejected Joe’s petition, for an expedited hearing and to file the motion under seal so that he could get his grubby little paws on some of Michael’s money. The nerve of some people…

FIGHTING FAIR…

The epic fail that is becoming DMX has pulled out of his Mixed Martial Arts fight with CEO of Power Moves Entertainment, Eric Martinez. They were supposed to go at it on December 9th, but word is DMX’s contract supposedly stipulated the event promoter; (Thunder Promotions) fix the fight!! Spies say DMX’s contract stated: “Event Promoter and Management agree that (DMX) is scheduled to win Boxing Challenge… All parties agree this event has been scheduled to occur only in fun and that the artist involved is not a professional boxer.” Thunder Promotions told DMX thanks but no thanks…Really X? Smh

UNBREAK MY HEART…..

Toni Braxton has experienced a lot this year, now on top of her being sued, her *cough* financial discrepancies and her ongoing health problems…Word is her and husband of 8 years Keri Lewis (Yup..The dude from mint Condition) are separating…I wonder if that kiss with Mr. Trey “I Invented Sex” Songz at the Soul Train Music Awards had anything to do with this…hmmmmm

It’s also gotten officials talking about making stricter penalties to nip situations like the one in the video in the bud….

People are asking if Sammy Sosa is suffering from a “racial” identity problem or suffers from some form of a skin disease (i.e.: vitiligo) that caused him to lose pigmentation. The pictures you’re staring at are of Sammy back in May the second with his wife was, taken at an event in November. Inquiring minds so want to know what the heck happened…
