National Cherry Blossom Festival 2011
Saturday, March 26th-Sunday, April 10th
Definitely one of the DC area’s largest Springtime events for tourists and locals alike. (There’s even an app for that!)  Its a time to get out, smell the fresh air and admire the pretty pink Cherry Blossoms.
There are many events going on during this time, so be sure to take part in at least ONE. Check out the official Calendar of Events and Guide (The Washington Examiner) to see what’s up.
Since Japan gave the United States the beautiful gift of Cherry Blossoms almost 100 years ago (99, to be exact), its our time to give back an equally great gift. Click here to donate to the National Cherry Blossom Festival Red Cross Online Donation Site and help American Red Cross help our friends in the Pacific.
