It seems Gilbert Arenas has undergone a make-over both on and off the court. The longest tenured player on the Wizards roster appeared at media day with a new beard, a new number on his jersey, and a new attitude. “Agent Zero” is now donning the number 9 and his trademark smile has been replaced with a stoicism that indicates the All-star guard is strictly, business.
Last season, Arenas received a 50 game suspension for bringing firearms into the Verizon Center. As punishment for the crime, he served 1 ½ months in a halfway house.
