Washington Photographer Shoots For Change

by April Watts

Last week, I had the pleasure of being a guest at “10×10 Shoot For Change” at Puro Café, in Georgetown.  “10×10” refers to 10 photos for $10 towards a charity; a fun and unique way to raise awareness and support a cause.   Walter Grio, is the amazing photographer and “accidental philanthropist” behind the concept.

Many of Washington’s finest came out to strike a pose or simply have a bit of fun in front of Walter’s lens.  The gorgeous Miami-style patio, at Puro, was the perfect backdrop for a wonderful evening.   All proceeds were donated to WEAVE: Women Empowered Against Violence.
